Transparent pricing
We share these ranges because we value transparency. We do not want to send a $25,000 proposal when an organization has $8,000 to work with, and we do not add unnecessary scope to meet a higher budget. When we can design useful support for less, we will.
Our work is co-designed, and most engagements include a mix of analysis, design, facilitation/learning experiences, and follow-through. Final costs depend on scope, timeline, and what your team has capacity to hold.
Pricing approach (planning ranges)
Our collaboration proposals and costs are based on an estimate of the total hours required for the project. Our hourly rate uses a sliding scale based on an organization’s annual operating budget. These ranges are for planning purposes only. We encourage you to reach out so we can understand your needs and determine accurate pricing through our proposal process. The purpose of this page is to explain how we determine pricing and to provide ballpark figures for common types of collaborations.
Community Rate(budget typically under $1M): $120/hr
Sustainability Rate(budget typically $1M–$5M): $185/hr
Institutional Solidarity Rate(budget typically $5M+ / foundations): $250/hr
